 | Pachypodium lamerei One of the most common Madagascan Pachypodiums in cultivation but is still one of the best suitable for house plant culture. Plants have a spiny columnar body with a rosette of dark green leaves on top.Plants in habitat can attain 10 metres in height and are extremely impressive. A good size plant can be grown reasonably quickly but will not flower until at least 1.5 metres high.

Pachypodium namaquanum One of the most distinctive of South African Pachypodiums.The thick tapered trunk can grow up to over 2 metres in height with a terminal leaf rosette. The whole trunk is covered in spiralling rows of small tubercules bearing needle like spines. A winter grower it needs a little more care but is not difficult and is one to have.
